Endangered Species

Salmon and water workshop offered

A workshop for landowners concerned about salmon and water issues will be held at the Methow Valley Community Center in Twisp from 1-5 p.m., Wednesday (July 25).

The event is sponsored by the Upper Columbia Regional Fisheries Enhancement Group, the Okanogan Conservation District, Colville Confederated Tribes, People for Salmon and the Associated General Contractors.

Darlene Madenwald, former president of the Washington Environmental Council, and Willy O’Neil of the Associated General Contractors, are among the speakers.
